About our Deodorant

Several years ago we started making coconut oil-based deodorant for our family. We noticed that in the summer, the coconut oil became runny, and in the winter, it was completely solid. So we created a formula that stays consistent, from a hot car to cold weather, and still goes on smoothly without artificial agents. It is made with wholesome ingredients. You can wear it all day, have a workout and still not stink!

Our combination of non-GMO corn starch and beeswax in just the right amounts adds dryness and all-day protection, and contains no hard-to-pronounce ingredients!

We truly believe this is the most effective natural deodorant you will ever use.

I have tried nearly every single natural deodorant on the market and none have worked great for me. I decided to give this one a shot and am SO glad I did! It works SO WELL! Better than any commercial (toxic) deodorant ever has! I still smell like fresh coconuts 24 hours later! Highly recommend!

Best deodorant I have ever purchased and ever used. I have bought and tried a handful of "all natural" deodorants from various stores and a handful of hand made all natural coconut oil based deodorants and this deodorant by deodad is BY FAR the BEST deodorant EVER MADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)

So this deodorant is amazing. I've tried SO MANY over the years, especially once I decided to "go natural". I'd found a few that worked pretty well but there was always SOMETHING not perfect about them. THIS! IS! PERFECT! One swipe down, one swipe up, and I'm good all day. And when I say "all day" I don't mean like 6-8 hours I mean I go to bed and wake up the next morning and I still have no smell except for normal skin smell. EFFING INCREDIBLE. I was seriously waiting for something to go wrong but I've been using it for a couple week now and NOPE. Go to the gym? It's good. Stress sweat? It's good. So awesome. Obviously everyone's biology is a little different, but for mine, this is great. I wish I could get my local natural food store to stock it.

Excellent product and very fast delivery! I had been reading a lot about how effective coconut oil is for preventing underarm odor so was very excited to find Deo Dad's 100% natural and handmade deodorant on Etsy! The rumor is definitely true BTW! Deo Dad's coconut oil-based deodorant is SUPER powerful but safe and organic! Awesome!

This is it! Finally a natural deodorant that WORKS GREAT and is made of CLEAN products. I've search for years! I rarely write reviews, but I had to for this one. It's amazing that it will stay solid in all temperatures. I ran out once and had to quick buy something from the store (a mainstream chemical one) and it didn't work- I stunk. This works better than the store deodorants! I've even been giving this as gifts..

Works great, used baking soda before that because deodorants cause sharp pain in my armpits occasionally (the chemical ones) and all natural deodorants didn't work at all. This works and no adverse effects. Great product would recommend it to anyone.

Nota

A deodorant that really does work against odor. No matter how many commercial deodorants I've tried, (containing high levels of aluminum, I might add) this one does the job! Note: you will still sweat, but I'll take wetness any day over underarm odor.

For over two decades I have tried many natural deodorants. All stopped working within a few hours including Tom's and the salt rock. This product works for well over 24 hours and I am thrilled to have found it. Any residue washes off of clothes, so for me feeling confident is more important than worrying about a temporary residue. I have also noticed that my arm pits itch when I am very nervous. I assume that it is the product going to work on bacteria that caused the odors I am glad to be rid of. It happened more when I first began using Deodad and now it is minimal. Overall, I will use this product again and again. I will recommend it to my children when they begin using deodorant. I am beyond grateful to have this product in my medicine cabinet!

Deodad to the rescue! About a year ago, I became concerned with using harsh chemical antiperspirants and deodorants for a number of health reasons. Added to that was my unfortunate problem with commercial deodorants that had begun to coat my clothes with what can only be described as odor "funk." I travel a lot for work, and by the end of the day (or the end of a long flight), well, let's just say that I would become quite fragrant. So, for about 10 months I switched to a crystal deodorant stick as a base, topped off with a larger brand's natural deodorant stick. My clothes no longer stunk, but I would stink after about 6 hours. After doing a lot of research online, I stumbled across the Deodad stick and figured it was worth a try. I am so happy that I tried it! I have been using it for over a week now and it is an excellent product. I still perspire (but I think it's healthy to sweat - antiperspirants are just weird!), but I don't stink. Let me repeat: no stink! Not even after 24 hours! My kids can confirm that Deodad works - they keep checking to see if it is still working on me (apparently, little boys aren't afraid to stick their head in somebody's armpit to check for odor...). Deodad is pretty terrific. I am going to buy some for my pre-teen son and my husband, too. For the sake of reference, I am a woman in my late thirties and I have sensitive skin. I am very physically active.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! This product is AMAZING!!!!! I love it is all natural and that I put some on and bam...I haven't had a smelly pit since last friday. lol. I worked out in it yesterday and cleaned my car and I love in FLORIDA...its hot and sweaty here. My regular antipersperient and deorderant would fail me by the end of my work day which I just sit at a desk. This stuff is great beyond words. I wanted to steer clear of the the anti deo as a healthier option. Please never stop selling this product!!!!! Cheers

I have used a lot of natural deodorants. Pretty much every brand available at whole foods and my local natural product stores. This is the best product i have used yet. I work a desk job and don't sweat that much but with other natural deodorant i would start to smell half way through the day. Working out? forget it, those deodorants were pretty worthless. I have seen many DIY deodorants with similar ingredients to DeoDads so i figured i would give this a shot. It only have a few ingredients. All of which i can pronounce (definitely a plus). I have been using it for about a month now and i have no plan on switching. It doesn't have a strong sent (which is OK by me) but i don't smell. I can work all day, come home do a vigorous hour long workout and still not smell. By that time the deodorant sent has gone away but my underarms smell like nothing. It's amazing i literally don't every smell anymore. I love this stuff, i have been telling everyone about it. Give this stuff a shot. I think you will be surprised.

I cannot believe it. I never write reviews! I am always very paranoid about smell. I have tried all regular and natural deodorants and have never felt secure! This stuff is amazing. Totally works and feels good on the skin. I have to rub it in a bit but who cares??? Healthy for me and works. THANK YOU Deodad!

I was so skeptical about natural deodarants, but when I received this deodorant and tried it, I was amazed! It does the job of prescription strength deodorant without all the nasty chemicals! It lasts all day long and the smell is wonderful! If I could give it 10 stars I would!

I have been looking for an affordable, all natural deodorant when I bought an e-book series and had a coupon for DeoDad. I tried the Lavender and I love it. I have not had a problem with smelling badly when I sweat. I haven't worked out with it yet so I don't know if it will cover that, but it has worked great for just everyday work around the house and chasing kids!

If you have underarm odor issues, I'm sure you understand the frustration of purchasing a deodorant that only works for the first 1-3 months. After that they all just end up in the trash... After my $20 designer brand deodorant lost its potency, I started looking into homemade remedies and discovered a highly popular coconut oil-based deodorant recipe that could be made from your own home! Luckily, I ran into DeoDad's product during my research, which contained all the exact ingredients that were called for in this supposed super powerful deodorant recipe, and for only $6!! I truly wish there were more ways that I can help spread this product to the homes of stinky people! It REALLY WORKS AMAZINGLY! I have struggled with underarm odor for over 15 years and this is the ONLY product that has been able to prevent myself from becoming embarrassingly stinky. I can even wear polyester shirts now without worrying about the after effects. I never thought I would be this public about my smelliness but I'm sure there are many people out there who are still continuing their search for a product that would cure their smelly issues so PLEASE TRY THIS PRODUCT! This is such a great product! When I heard about aluminum in many of the commercial deodorants I was quick to find something that was safer for my body. I tried a couple different natural deodorants and was always upset that it didn't really mask odor very well. However, DeoDad deodorant works so well and has such a simple ingredient list! I know what the deodorant is made of and I don't have to worry about my deodorant's power fading throughout the day. I would definitely recommend this product!

I bought the lavender deodorant at another website early this year. This deodorant really works for me. Put on clean skin after showering and 24 hours later, I was still odorless. You only need a smear of it - if you apply too much, it will get 'gobby'. However, you can just take your finger and smooth it into the skin. If there is any excess on your fingers, just wipe on your elbows or knees for a little extra moisturization. Great product!
